About Antarctopelta
Antarctopelta was a genus of ankylosaurian dinosaur with one known species, A. oliveroi, which lived in Antarctica during the Late Cretaceous Period. It was a medium-sized ankylosaur, reaching no more than 4 meters (13 ft) in length, and showed characteristics of two different families, making more precise classification difficult. Currently, it is classified as a nodosaurid, like Nodosaurus, however in-game it is instead an ankylosaurid, having the signature tail club of the group.
In the Game
Antarctopelta is a legendary Tournament herbivore. It is on the weaker side of the Tournament herbivore spectrum. It can, however, be unlocked by beating Stage 95 in the Arena. It is a health tank much like Sonorasaurus and Secodontosaurus, but has more attack and less health than those two. Despite being a Nodosaurid, a group of armored dinosaurs without tail clubs, it has a tail club like Ankylosaurus and Euoplocephalus.
