About Baryonyx

Baryonyx is a genus of theropod dinosaurs that lived about 130–125 million years ago in the Barremian stage of the Early Cretaceous Period. The first skeleton was found in Surrey's Weald Clay Formation, England, in 1983, and became the holotype specimen: B. walkeri, named in 1986 by the paleontologists Alan J. Charig and Angela C. Milner. Baryonyx means "strong claw" and alludes to the very large claw on the first finger of the animal; the specific name, walkeri, refers to its discoverer, amateur fossil collector William J. Walker. The holotype specimen is one of UK's most complete theropod skeletons (and continues to be the most complete spinosaurid).[1]This dino is so cool on level 31-40.

In Game

Baryonyx is a VIP dinosaur, meaning it can only be obtained by purchasing with VIP Points or winning in Prize Drops. As a battler, it lies between Tournament creatures and Legendary Hybrids like Indominus rex. It also is the most average of the three VIP Carnivores, having lower health and higher attack than Tanycolagreus and vice versa for Concavenator.
