About Ghost

Ghost is an Atrociraptor debuting in Jurassic World: Dominion as a Biosyn created antagonist. Like her packmates, Ghost is extremely violent and reckless but also quick on her feet, meaning she is perfect for tracking down and killing targets. It is most likely that Ghost is the leader of the Atrociraptor pack.

Ghost is sickly white color, hence her name. She also has light stripes running down her back with her eye color being blood red. Like the other Atrociraptors, Ghost has a Boxy and stout head build with a less slender build compared to Velociraptors and blunt edged sickle claws.

In Malta, Soyona Santos ordered for a "special delivery" to be sold at the underground dinosaurs trade. However, after Barry and Owen foiled Soyona's attempts, Ghost and her pack mates were set loose on the streets of Malta. Ghost and Panthera were seen chasing Owen while he was driving a motorcycle. Though both raptors had failed to catch Owen, the chase was reckless, leaving tons of collateral damage behind. Eventually, both reached the city outskirts when Owen managed to board Kayla Watts' plane. In a close call manner, Ghost followed him. The Atrociraptor managed to leap into the plane and attempted to attack and kill Owen. But, due to the plane's steep flight, Owen's motorcycle slammed into Ghost, causing both her and the motorcycle to fall out of the open hatch and down into the sea of Malta. Ghost's fate is currently unknown; she either drowned, died upon impact, or eventually returned to the mainland and survived.

Ghost was released on the 28th of October, 2022.

In Game

Stat wise, Ghost is a very good creature. It's one of the best non-hybrid Tournament Carnivore tanks, and by extension Jurassic ones in general, alongside Secodontosaurus, Giganotosaurus Gen 2 and Edaphosaurus. As a typical result of that, she has a very wide health pool, while lacking in attack by quite a bit. She is not very expensive, costing 7,250 DNA, which is a moderately normal amount. However, if we take its viability as a tank, its a very good price, if not somewhat cheap for it.

Likewise, Ghost serves as an extremely useful tank for its league, being able to take lots of damage, even from very powerful glass canons of the same category, such as Metriacanthosaurus, while dishing out mediocre damage at best. Her inability to deal such damage make her more suitable for the job of a meat-shield. So it is recommended the player uses her as a starter creature, where they can gain more action points, without having to worry much about her being sacrificed in the process. Once she does though, the player can setup for much more complex plays, making them able to deal with anything their opponent might have, putting them at a potentially major advantage. Having said that though, it is very vulnerable to Amphibians of the same tier, especially glass canon ones (like Acanthostega, being able to kill it within a few attacks.

Overall, it is a very good creature and even more so a tank, especially for its pretty low price. That, in turn, makes her very viable and a very good option in her league, as it can have lots of usage, even if it isn't that flexible in battle. Her somewhat low price also makes her easier to work on than a lot of other tournament creatures, as the player won't have to worry as much about spending too many resources. So the player won't have to entirely focus on her, and possibly work for other, smaller "projects". In conclusion, she is a very good investment to make for anyone, even if that means people who are more interested in battling/tournaments, or collectors/fans of the Jurassic World franchise who simply want to get her because of her appearance in the movie. She can be obtained through various Card packs that contain her and unlocked through her respective tournament.

Trivia

• Ghost is the first Atrociraptor from the Atrociraptor Squad to be released in the game, before Panthera.

• Ghost, similarly to other creatures that have appeared in the franchise outside the game (Like Rexy, Bumpy, Blue, Beta ect.) dont change appearance when evolving, but a yellow/gold glow appears on her, which only becomes brighter.
